How to use the Two Truths and a Lie template

The Collaboard template has an instruction area at the top with four steps and a filled-in example. Below it, each participant gets a personal area in a color of their own, with a name field, an avatar for a photo or selfie, three sticky notes for the statements and a set of lightning bolts for voting.

Add your name

Write your name in your area and place a photo or selfie over the avatar.

Write three statements

Think of two true facts and one lie about yourself. Write one statement on each sticky note.

Wait for the signal

When everyone is ready, the facilitator gives the signal to start voting.

Vote

For every other participant, drag a lightning bolt into the field below the statement you think is the lie.

Reveal

Each person reveals which statement was the lie. The lightning bolts show who guessed right.

What is Two Truths and a Lie?
