• Your Goal: To master the basics so that we can hit the ground running together in the live sessions and build upon a strong foundation.

Module 1: Fundamentals & Board Design

(Format: Online Session | Duration: 3 hours)

The foundation for your work as a digital facilitator. In this intensive introductory module, you will learn not only about the tools, but also how to create work environments that work.

• Secure Operation: Gain complete proficiency in using all basic Collaboard functions.
• Professional Design: Create visually appealing boards through the skillful use of structures, colors, and layers.
• User Experience: Learn how to arrange content so that your participants can intuitively find their way around.
• Preparation is everything: Learn how to optimally set up boards for collaborative work before the first participant enters the room.

Transfer Phase I

(Format: Real-World Application & Peer Exchange | Duration: 3–4 Weeks)

We won't leave you alone with just the theory. In this phase, you apply what you’ve learned directly to your daily work—making it an integral part of your daily practice. Additionally, you will design your own custom topic board of your choice. Exchange ideas with other participants and leverage this peer exchange to gain fresh perspectives. And should any questions arise during this transfer phase, you can access our support at any time—we are here to guide you on your journey.

Module 2: Facilitation & Interaction

(Format: Online Session | Duration: 3 Hours)

Now, preparation turns into genuine collaboration. This module focuses on how to actively engage participants and confidently lead workshops. Facilitation in Flow: How to conduct your digital sessions with structure and confidence. Active Participation: Methods to transition participants from passive listening to active engagement. Interactive Stations: We build concrete interactive elements directly onto the board—ranging from voting and group work to feedback rounds. The Facilitator’s Toolkit: Confidently utilize facilitation and presentation features to guide the group’s focus. Methodological Expertise: Best practices for collaborative meetings that deliver tangible results.

Transfer Phase II

(Format: Real-World Application & Peer Exchange | Duration: 3–4 Weeks)

Now it all comes together: your facilitation techniques and your board-building skills! In this phase, you design your complete board for live deployment—tailored specifically to your daily work environment. Your masterpiece takes shape: a board that not only looks great and is well-structured but also elevates your collaborative efforts to a whole new level. Exchange ideas with other participants, gain fresh insights, and make your implementation truly impactful.

Module 3: Sharing Results & Perspectives

(Format: Online Session | Duration: 1.5 hours)

Share insights and create new perspectives: This module focuses on sustainably embedding what you have learned into your daily routine. Showcase: Present your results and best practices from the transfer phase. Reflection & Feedback: Engage in in-depth discussions with the group and gain valuable inspiration through peer-to-peer exchange. Your Future: Develop your personal roadmap for the continued use of Collaboard in your daily work. To ensure you can focus entirely on the content, the following technical requirements are important:

💻 Your Equipment (Hardware)

Computer & Internet: A PC or Mac with a stable internet connection.

Audio & Video: Since we will be working interactively, a webcam and a headset (or a high-quality microphone) are essential. We want to interact with one another!

Pro Tip: A second monitor is ideal (though not mandatory). This allows you to follow the training via MS Teams on one screen while working directly in Collaboard on the other.

🛠️ Software & Access

Browser: You should be familiar with how to use a web browser. For optimal performance, we recommend Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Platform: The live sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams. You can join either via your web browser or the desktop application. Prior Knowledge: You can dive right in. No specific prior knowledge of Collaboard is required.

Registration: Please register in advance within our standard environment (WEB), as this will serve as our training environment. This is only required if you do not yet have an account in this specific environment. Important Note Regarding Company Devices: If you are using a work device, please check in advance whether any firewalls or VPNs restrict access to external collaboration tools. If in doubt, we recommend using a personal device to avoid any technical hurdles.
